Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the operability and the safety, by retaining an armature of an electronmagnetic valve in the attracted state even when a pressing force on a knob is released immediately after a pilot burner is ignited, and causing the armature not to be attracted if the pilot burner is not ignited. CONSTITUTION:When the pilot burner is ignited, a thermocouple 28 is heated, and its output is gradually increased, and the change of the output is detected by a differential circuit 31, and is compared by a comparator 33. For a prescribed period after the start of heating, since the output of the thermocouple 28 is gradually increased, the output of the comparator 33 becomes a L level to turn a transistor 25 on, and a current is passed to a coil 27 so that the armature is kept attracted. After a prescribed period, the comparator 33 is reversed, and while the transisters 25, 23 are turned off, by the output of the thermocouple 28 a current is passed to the coil so that the armature is kept attracted. If the pilot burner is not ignited, the transistor 25 is not turned on, and therefore a raw gas would not be discharged.
