Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A numeric input part 2-1 has two functions for setting a number of copies and setting the quantity of displacement of a picture and functions normally to set the number of copies; and when the user wants to displace a picture and depresses a shift key 2-2, a shift indicator 2-5 is flickered to indicate that the input of the quantity of displacement of the picture is permitted. Then, the user inputs a desired quantity of displacement in mm. through the numeric input part 2-1; and when he depresses the shift key 2-2 again after confirming this input with flickering of the shift indicator 2-5, the indicator 2-5 stops flickering and displays the input numeric value. Thus, the resist timing is changed to change the position of the contact between the toner image on a photosensitive drum and a transfer paper.
