Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an equipment to hydraulically convey underwater-stored coal at high concentration with a pump, by providing a coal scrape-down frame, a coal scrape-near impeller and a coal scrape-up impeller near the suction port of the pump. CONSTITUTION:When the conveyance of underwater-stored coal 6 is begun by starting the operation of a submerged pump 2, hydraulic motors 11, 14 and a hydraulic jack 19, a coal scrape-down frame 16 scrapes down the pileup of the coal and a coal scrape-near impeller 13 scrapes the coal into a suction box 1 and moves the coal toward a coal scrape-up impeller 10 which drives the coal into the suction port 2a of the submerged pump 2. The coal 6 can thus hydraulically be conveyed at much higher concentration than in suction conveyance only by the sucking negative pressure of the submerged pump 2.
