Abstract

PURPOSE:To perfectly transfer toner on a photoreceptor by a physical method using no corona discharger without scratching the photoreceptor and a transfer medium for receiving the toner, by forming an easily strippable material layer on the surface of the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:An easily strippable material layer 3 is formed on the surface of a photoreceptor consisting of a conductive substrate 1 and a photoconductive layer 3. As the material of the layer 3, for example, silicone resin, fluoroplastic, aminoalkyd resin, casein, or the like having high strippability is used. A layer thickness of 0.01-5mum is preferable from the viewpoint of resolution, so it is desirable that the surface of the layer 2 is smooth. The layer 2 may be subjected to primer treatment to improve adhesion between the layers 2, 3. Toner can be perfectly transferred pressing a transfer medium 9 to the layer 2 and pressure transferring the toner image formed on the layer 2 with a pressure roller 8.
