Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled apparatus, containing a chaff smoking chamber provided in the gap of a double-wall cylindrical structure of an outer cylinder with a perforated wall and an inner cylinder, a chaff supplying port at the top thereof and a smoked coal discharging port at the bottom thereof, and capable of smoothing the dispersion and supplying of the chaff and giving a good smoked coal without unevenness in combustion.
CONSTITUTION: The gap of a double-wall cylindrical structure formed by inserting an inner cylinder 1 with a perforated wall of a primary gas combustion chamber 2 in the interior in an outer cylinder 6 with a perforated wall thereof is used as a chaff smoking and combustion chamber 5, and a chaff supplying port 13 is provided on the top of the smoking and combustion chamber 5. A smoked coal discharging port is provided at the bottom of the outer cylinder 6. Chaff is made to flow and supplied from a top chaff supplying port 18 to a chaff smoking chamber 5 and burned. The resultant smoked ash is then discharged from the bottom smoked coal discharging port 10. Preferably, a chaff transfer conduit pipe 15 containig a horizontal screw communicating with a hopper 14 is provided at the chaff supplying port 13, and a transporting cylinder 12 containing a vertical screw 11 is provided at the smoked coal discharging port 10.
