Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the connection of electic car power-lines in a rigid aerial conductor device and a connecting structure thereof, by abutting the opposite ends of the top sides of a symetrical pair of molded bars having a J-shaped cross-section and by clamping the electric car power lines with serrated parts of the ends of the leg sides which are fastened by through-bolts. CONSTITUTION:On a prolonged line of one molded bar the other one molded bar is arranged and connected to the one molded bar. Lining plates 4, 4 are applied to both lateral surfaces of the leg sides of the molded bars, extending over this connected part thereof, and the former three are fastened together by through- bolts 5. This is made to the connections of the left and right molded bars, respectively, thereby the complete connected part is obtained. Thus, electric car power lines clamped by both left and right bars are not subjected to the affection of the joint thereof, that is, it establishes the hard point of a rigid body so that the electrical power collecting performance is not impaired and as well the connection thereof is simplified since it may be made only by introducing the component members which is previously and temporarily assembled and then fastened them with bolts without any welding work for connection.
