Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the heat collecting efficiency of a heat collector assembly by a method wherein the bottom of a box-shaped space for housing the heat collector assembly and the portion around the bottom are insulated from heat by eave and ridge side heat insulating crosspieces and the heat insulating core member of a ?-shaped cross sectional configuration. CONSTITUTION:The box-shaped space defined by connecting members 1, a basic roof plate 2 and covering members are divided into a plurality of elongated box- shaped sections by means of the eave side heat insulating crosspieces 4 and ridge side heat insulating crosspieces 5 which extend horizontally over the basic roof plate 2. Further, the heat insulating core member 16 having a ?-shaped sectional configuration and comprised of a heat insulating bottom section 21 and two heat insulating side sections 22 is mounted in the box-shaped space with both of the side sections being in contact with the connecting members 1 on both sides of the space. Consequently, the bottom of the box-shaped space and therearound are completely insulated from heat so that the heat collecting efficiency of the heat collecting assembly is improved.
