Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate the junction voltage temperature characteristics of a wave detecting diode for a high frequency detector which detects the electric power level, by connecting a diode in series to the load resistance of the detecting diode and then applying the DC voltage to the diode. CONSTITUTION:The voltage Vin of a high frequency input terminal 1 is applied to a wave detecting diode D1 via a capacitor C1 and a choke coil L1. A diode D2 is connected in series to the load resistance Rl of the D1, and the DC voltage -Vcc is applied to the D2. A smoothing circuit C2 is provided, and the high frequency voltage Vin is applied to the C2 via the C1 and C3. In such way, the D2 is formed identical with the D1. As a result, the output of the detection voltage of a terminal 2 has no relation with the temperature. In such way, the perfect temperature compensation is possible for a high frequency circuit, or a circuit having the optional temperature characteristics can be obtained.
