Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid a breakaway between a lithium plate and a current collector during winding and prevent a short-circuit of an eddy type organic electrolyte cell by protruding a part of lithium through holes of a porous metal plate and using a cathode plate produced by crushing the projections. CONSTITUTION:A porous metal plate 3 as a current collector and a lithium plate 2 are attached under pressure, and a part of lithium is protruded through holes 3a of the porous metal plate 3. The projections 2a are pressed with a press, etc., and are crushed to become wider than the opening areas of the holes 3a to form a cathode plate 1. Since a part of lithium covers non-hole sections 3b on the rear of the attached side of the porous metal plate 3 in this cathode plate 1, a breakaway between the lithium plate 2 and the porous metal plate 3 is reduced when they are wound in a eddy shape. In addition, protruding of the edge of the porous metal plate 3 through a separator is suppressed when the eddy electrode is being formed, and the eddy type organic electrolyte cell is prevented from having a short-circuit.
