Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the changeover of control mode, by applying the differential pressure around a restrictor valve provided in a main line, to a load sensor valve to control the discharge quantity of a variable pump and by using the action of a by-pass-type pressure compensation valve to control the differential pressure. CONSTITUTION:In a motive power matching mode, the differential pressure around a restrictor valve 3 is applied to a load sensor valve 17 through a pilot line 31 and motive power matching pilot lines 32, 34 to control the discharge quantity of a variable pump 1 by the action of the load sensor valve to keep the differential pressure almost constant. In a pressure matching mode, a main line 2 downstream to the restrictor valve 3 is connected to a by-pass-type pressure compensation valve 18 through pressure matching pilot lines 34, 46 to keep the differential pressure almost constant by the action of the compensation valve as the discharge quantity of the pump 1 remains constant. According to this constitution, the mode can be swithced by mode changeover valves 21, 71.
