Abstract

PURPOSE:To solder and bind two members inexpensively and surely by providing a copper film over the entire surface of the binding part of the 2nd member consisting of an iron material and binding the 1st member consisting of a copper material by means of a copper system brazing filler metal via said copper film. CONSTITUTION:In the case of binding the 2nd member 2 consisting of an iron material which is a body of a refrigerator vessel and the 1st member 1 consisting of a copper material, copper plating is applied by, for example, electroplating, over the entire inside surface of the binding part 2a of the member 2, whereby a copper film 3 is formed in a tight contact state. Thence, the binding part 1a of the 1st member 1 which is a connecting pipe is inserted into the part 2a of the 2nd member 2, and the copper film 3 of the inside surface of the part 2a is brazed to the part 1a of the pipe 1 by means of a copper system brazing filler metal 4, for example, phosphor bronze brazing filler metal, whereby both are bound. The brazing filler metal of brazing temp. lower than the m. tem. of the copper film is used here.
