Abstract
PURPOSE:To subject materials to contracting works successivly in the direction of feed of materials and to simplify the device, by forming an upper spherical part in the center of materials cut to a length corresponding to one ball and trimming a blade piece symmetrically to work the blade piece into a shape like a cylinder and allowing edges to face to each other to form a hemisphere. CONSTITUTION:A band-shaped plate material H having a width corresponding to one bell is cut to a length corresponding to one bell to form materials S. A large- diameter projection for forming an upper spherical part S1 is formed downward in the center of matrials S by the contracting work. Next, a small-diameter projection is formed downward in the flat bottom part of the large-diameter projection by the contracting work, and simultaneously, side parts of the large-diameter projection are formed into a hemispherical upper spherical part S1 successively. Next, a blade piece S2 is trimmed symmetrically with the upper spherical part S1 as the center. The blade piece S2 is formed to a shape like a cylinder on the circumferential edge of the upper spherical part S1 by the contracting work, and a wire rod C is cut above to drop a clapper C1. The blade piece S2 is curled into a hemisphere to that edges face to each other at an equal interval, thus forming a metallic bell as one body.
