Abstract
PURPOSE: A granular agricultural chemical composition, prepared by incorporating a composition consisting of an agricultural parent chemical and an inorganic mineral carrier essentially with polyvinyl alcohol, etc., and rapidly disintegrable and diffusible in water without disintegrating by vibration, rough handling in transportation, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A granular agricultural chemical composition, prepared by incorporating a composition consisting of an agricultural parent chemical and an inorganic mineral carrier essentially with a polyvinyl alcohol or a reaction product of modified polyvinyl alcohol with monochloroacetic acid, having improved hardness and disintegrating property in water, and capable of showing the agricultural chemical effect at its maximum. In case the viscosity is remarkably increased by the polyvinyl alcohol, modified polyvinyl alcohol or carboxymethylated derivative thereof, a water-soluble solvent, e.g. acetone or methyl ethyl ketone, may be added thereto. The granulation is easily carried out.
