Abstract
PURPOSE: To considerably reduce the time required for working and to produce said sleeve efficiently by forming the sleeve of an anchor including an expanded part which is longitudinally split particularly with split grooves through press-forming by backward extrusion.
CONSTITUTION: Straightened end faces 1a, 1b of a blank material 1 are simultaneously subjected to composite extrusion working. A cylindrical expanding part 3 having an inside hole 2 is formed together with such plural split grooves 4 which longitudinally split said part to plural opening pieces 3a to the end face 1a side thereof, and another inside hole 5 is formed on the end face 1b side. Then, such an inside hole 6 which extends the inside hole 2 of the expanding part 3 to the inner side is formed to the blank material 1 which is made into a semiprocessed good by this working, after which the thin excess metallic part 7 between the inside holes 5, 6 is blanked to form an inside hole 8. Here, at above-mentioned forming, the blank material 1 is inserted into a forming hole 12 of a press-forming dies and the leading end part of a press-forming punch 15 is driven into this hole 12, thereby strongly pressing the material 1 axially. Thereby, the part of the material 1 near the stationary punch 13 is extruded forward on account of plastic deformation, and an inside hole 5 is formed by the punch 13.
