Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a pole change motor by dividing coils for the respective phases into a plurality of segments and disposing alternately the first coil group in which the polarity of the pole changes by varying the connection of the coil segments and the second coil group in which the polarity of the pole does not change to be composed in variable connection manner. CONSTITUTION:Coils of U, V and W phases are divided at the number of poles/2 pieces to be wound. The coil segments thus divided at the number of poles/2 pieces per one phase have a large coil a, a middle coil b and a small coil c in odd number, and the coil segments divided at the number of poles/2 pieces per one phase of the same phase also have a large coil a', a middle coil b' and a small coil c' in odd number. The coils c', a', b are connected in series to form the first coil group, the coils a, c, b' are connected in series to form the second coil group, and these groups are alternately disposed in the respective phases.
