Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the number of pole variable by the ratio of 1:4 in a single winding by a method wherein coils forming one pole are divided into a predetermined 1st coil group and 2nd coil group to arrange the respective phases alternately and the polarity of the 1at coil groups are inverted. CONSTITUTION:When the number of pole variation by the ratio of 2:8 is made, the 1st coil group composed of conductors U11-U13, V11-V13 and W11-W13 and the 2nd coil group composed of conductors U21-U23, V21-V23 and W21-W23 are arranged in stator slots 1-18 alternately for the respective phases. Those marked for inversion in the chart shall respectively be the conductors to be made the other coil pieces which form a coil 20 cooperating with the conductors U11-W23. And when used as the poles connection (light speed), the conductors are connected in 2XDELTA or 2XY, and when used as the 8 poles (low speed), they are connected in 1XY by inverting the current direction (polarity) in the 1st coil group.
