Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate to realize enough running gradient for drain by a structure wherein a windmill driven pump utilizing the blast of a blower contained in an overhead air conditioner hung down from a ceiling or the like so as to pump up the drain. CONSTITUTION:When the overhead air conditioner hung down from a ceiling or the like is put in operation, the air is sucked in by means of the blower 1 and past through a cooling coil 2 and, after driving a windmill 4, blown-off from a blowing-off port 7 into a room. In this case, the drain produced as a result of the dehydration by the cooling coil 2 is received in a drain pan 3. On the other hand, because the pump 5 is coupled with the windmill 4 by means of the same shaft, the pump 5 is rotated in the same manner as the rotation of the windmill 4, resulting in pumping up the drain in the drain pan 3 through a piping 8 in order to drain. Owing to the structure as mentioned above, the position of a drainage port 8 can rendered to be high so as to obtain steep running gradient for the drain.
