Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the water leakage of an apparatus wherein drain is forcibly evacuated intermittently by a pump, by actuating an informing system before the drain leaks outside when the pump or others mulfunctions and the drain overflows the drain vessel. CONSTITUTION:In a circular interior air conditioner apparatus S attached to the undersurface of a ceiling R of the room to be air-conditioned, the room air that has been sucked through an inlet 12 by the rotation of a motor fan 14 is cooled by an annular heat exchanger 15, and then is blown out in all directions through an outlet 13. On this occasion, water droplets condensed on the surface of the heat exchanger 15 drop into a drain pan 17 and is accomodated through a pipe 19 into a vessel 20. When the level of the drain in the vessel reaches the upper limit, it is forcibly evacuated by a pump 30 that is driven by a motor 29 with the aid of electrode devices 31. In this case, if the pump 30 mulfunctions due to some cause and when the drain in the vessel 20 overflows, the rain is received into an auxiliary vessel 21, and an informing device 28 is actuated through electrodes 27a, 27b.
