Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a small, high output titled device simple in structure, excellent in safety and drivable by, besides oil pressure, air pressure and spring force by linking the working shaft of a clamping click with the piston of a working cylinder through a differential screw type toggle mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Air pressure is supplied to an unclamping pressure chamber 4 in a clamping state, and a piston 1 of restrained free rotation is lowered, and an intermediate transmitting screw 5 is rotatd through a large lead screw fitting. By this rotation, a working shaft 2 is rotated to unclamping side through a small lead screw fitting. At this time, rotation of the shaft 2 is retrained by a rotation control device 12 afte rotating it by 1/4 rotation. After that, the shaft 2 is lowered by a rotating screw 5 without rotation and made to an unclamping state. When changing from this state to a clamping state, air pressure is supplied to a clamping pressure chamber 3 while releasing air pressure in the chamber 4 reversing above-mentioned procedure. Consequently, the piston 1 is raised and the screw 5 is rotated and the shaft 2 is rotated to clamping side by 1/4 rotation. Then, it is raised without rotation to make it a clamping state.
