Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent recording pictures from being inclined by feeding a recording paper so as to be inclined by a spiral scanning angle to the subscanning direction of a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Spiral scanning is applied to the surface of a photosensitive drum 2 by an LED allay 41 attached to a recording head 4. A picture written on the surface of the drum 2 and developed by the spiral scanning is transferred to a recording paper 6. At the time, the recording paper 6 is fed to the transfer position so as to be inlined by the spiral angle against the axial direction (subscanning Y direction) of the drum 2. Thus, the picture transferred to the recording paper 6 can be prevented from being inclined.
