Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a structure, to reduce a coating energy, and to enhance stability of a recording, by a method wherein an ink coating is conducted by friction. CONSTITUTION:An ink holding member 4 turns in a direction of an arrow mark, ink 1 is pressed against the ink holding memeber 4 through the force of a spring 3, and thereby a part of the ink 1 is applied on the periphery of the ink holding member 4 thanks to a friction force. A heat head 6 is pressed against the ink 1 on the periphery of the holding member 4 through a recording paper 5, and a signal from a control circuit is applied to the heat head 6 via a terminal 7. Heating of the heat head 6 fuses the corresponding ink 1 through the recording paper 5 to transfer the ink to the recording paper 5. After transferring, the heat heat 6 is released from pressing, the recording paper 5 is fed by a full one dot by a member 8, and the heat head 6 is pressed again to record a next dot.
