Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of heaters by providing a power controlling circuit which controls ON or OFF of a switching element connected in series with the heaters and an energizing time control circuit which varies the energizing zone of the ON or OFF cycle. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a heater 2' used for a carpet or the like is controlled by a temperature controlling circuit 4', a triac 9 is connected to the heater 2', and is controlled by a power controlling circuit 10 and an energizing time control circuit 11. The circuit 10 has a reset control circuit RC including binary counters, a timer circuit TC operated with the signal, and a gate control circuit GC, and an oscillator combined with a capacitor CT and a resistor RT is formed as the circuit 11. Thus, the energizing time of the ON or OFF cycle of the triac 9 is varied, thereby reducing the number of the heaters and controlling steplessly the power.
