Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the free-to-oscillate characteristic of a spring construction by inserting the support into the hole eccentrically outerward and by holding the spring so that the support and the hole are in contact with each other.
CONSTITUTION: The diameter d1 of a support 10 and the diameter d2 of a hole in a spring 5 shall be in contact with each other by a line or a plane, and the misalignment of these two shall be eliminated. The contact is obtained by setting the circular section of the support 10 eccentric with respect to the circular section of the support inserting hole of the spring 5, where displacement δ of the spring 5 caused by its own weight shall be set to zero and, also, misalignment δ of the load center in the spring 5 with respect to the load center in an adjustment bolt 6 shall be set to zero. During operation, the support 10 is so controlled that the support inserting hole in the spring 5 will not be in contact, and thus a gap is produced by deflection of the spring 5, so that the free-to-oscillate characteristic of the spring is not spoiled.
