Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a starter for an automobile engine or the like to start it through one time of operation of an instruction switch, by receiving an operation parameter signal detection signal to perform a prescribed calculation in a computation circuit and by controlling a starting motor depending on the result of the calculation. CONSTITUTION:A starting instruction switch 4 is connected to a starting motor 3 through a computation circuit 8 and a starter control circuit 9. Detectors 5, 6 for the revolution speed and water temperature of an engine and a clock pulse generator 7 are connected to the computation circuit 8. When the switch 4 is pressed, the circuit 8 detects a starting condition and transmits a control signal to the starting motor control circuit 9. As a result, a transistor 10 is turned on to energize a relay 11 to connect a battery 1 to the motor 3 through contacts 11B to start the engine. Since the time of stoppage of the motor 3 is found out by checking various conditions in the computation circuit 8, the drive of the motor is not continued after the starting of the engine and the motor is not driven too early to start the engine.
