Abstract

PURPOSE:To smooth the refeeding of paper by bringing the feed rollers into rolling contact partially with the copying paper and arranging these rollers in usch a way that the positions thereof do not correspond to the positions of the stripping pawls which contact locally the fixing rollers coated with oil. CONSTITUTION:Stripping pawls 17 which contact fixing rollers 13 are skewered onto a common shaft 22 at prescribed intervals. Since copying paper 15 is passed always in a constant state with one edge as a reference position irrespectively of its sizes, the sticking positions C1-C6 where silicone oil is stuck on the paper 15 by the leading ends of the pawls 17 are constant. Hence, feed rollers 29 are divided in its axial direction, and are brought into rolling contact with the paper 15 at the parts other than the positions C1-C6 where the silicone oil is stuck, whereby the paper is fed smoothly without slipping with the silicone oil.
