PURPOSE:To obtain particle board at low cost, by forming mold releasing films on the inner face of both upper and lower molds, feeding the uniform mixture of powder of vinylchloride resin etc. and wooden powder between the upper and lower molds, fusing said resin and making integral by pressure and heat, thereafter performing cooling, demolding and peeling off of the mold releasing film. CONSTITUTION:Mold releasing films 2 are laid on an upper and lower faces of mold 3, the uniform mixture of powder 11 of vinylchloride resin etc. and wooden powder 12 is fed between those and the mixture is made integral by pressurizing and heating from both upper and lower faces of the mold 3 and fusing the resin, then cooling, demolding and peeling off of the mold releasing film is performed, thus a particle board is manufactured. By this, the particle board which has excellent mechanical strength and is comparable to the wood on workability, far superior on the properties of water resistance, chemical resistance, electrical insulation, antiseptic property etc. and approaches to the wood on the appearances of the section and others can be mass-produced at low cost.
