Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a sideslip in a curved road by setting a target straight line for braking on the basis of the speed of a non-steering wheel.
CONSTITUTION: Wheel speed signals Vw from the non-steering wheel 10 is inputted to a target straight line generating citcuit 15. The output signals Vwo of the target straight line generating circuit 15 are inputted to comparators 16, 25, and each compared with the speed signals of the non-steering wheel and the speed signals of a steering wheel, and oil pressure actuators 18, 27 for respective wheel are controlled. Since the target straight line for braking is set on the basis of the speed of the non- steering wheel, the non-steering wheel slightly sideslips even when the wheel is braked suddenly during the travelling of the curved road, and the target straight line can be formed at a proper slipping rate.
