Abstract

PURPOSE: To allow a titled tank to displace independently in the event of crustal movement by utilizing this structure in the case of burying a tank in the ground or the like, and supporting an inside cylindrical pipe in the state of permitting relative horizontal movement with respect to the structure on the ground and an outside cylindrical pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A water tank 2 of ground construction is installed in the state of forming an annular spacing S between the inside circumferential surface of an opening 10 for fitting of a stand pipe provided to the bottom plate 9 of the tank 2 and the outside circumferential surface of a stand pipe 7. A water-stopping structure 11 is extended from the pipe 7 near the opening 10, and a flexible water-stopping film 12 permitting horizontal relative movement is provided between said structure and the bottom plate 9. With a spacing S1 held formed in a horizontal direction within the spacing S, annular rubber 13 is fitted therein to relieve the impact in the relative displacement owing to crustal movement. The impact in vertical directions is relieved as well by an elastic packing 14. Further, the rib members 15W at the top end of an inside cylindrical pipe 4 are placed and supported to the top end of an outside cylindrical pipe 1 to permit relative movement in horizontal directions.
