Abstract

PURPOSE:To switch and use a linear polarized wave or a circular polarized wave in a state that a circular polarizer remains fixed to the radiation surface of a radar antenna device, by winding a tape which has joined a metallic tape and a low dielectric tape together in one tape by tape winders alternately. CONSTITUTION:A tape which has joined a metallic tape 3 and a low dielectric tape 4 in one tape at every its prescribed length is inserted into a groove part slotting part 8 of a low permittivity substance 1 which has been slotted like a lattice, through a roll 5 installed to the end, and both ends of the tape are connected to the side of tape winders 6, 7, respectively. When half of the tape is constituted of the metallic tape, the remaining half is constituted of the low dielectric tape, and the low dielectric tape is wound by the tape winder 6 so that the metallic tape 3 is stretched on the whole lattice sloting part 8, a transducer for a circular polarized wave is obtained, and on the contrary, when the metallic tape is wound by the winder 7, and the low dielectric tape 4 is stretched on the whole lattice slotting part 8, a linear polarized wave can be used.
