Abstract
PURPOSE:To copy the red part of an original at sufficient image density by adding a dye having its absorption maximum in the red spectral color range to the upper surface of a charge generating layer contg. a phthalocyanine compound as a charge generating material. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer contg. a phthalocyanine compound is made photoconductive at a part corresponding to the red part of an original since the compound has higher sensitivity to red rays of light, and the red part is copied like the white part of the original. In order to prevent such copying, a charge transferring layer contg. a dye having its absorption maximum in the red spectral color range is formed on a charge generating layer contg. phthalocyanine. Thus, a receptor copying the red part of an original at sufficiently high image density is obtd. using the inexpensive photoconductive material causing no environmental pollution.
