Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate miniaturization of a coil with a superb anti-shock property and a high saturation magnetic flux density of a magnetic circuit, by composing the magnetic circuit of a yoke made of a soft magnetic material and a magnetic core of the coil, and by coupling the magnetic core of the coil and the magnetic circuit with a pin caulking. CONSTITUTION:A coil block of a booster coil of an electronic timepiece consists of a magnetic core 11, a coil 10 and a coil lead substrate 12 with the end of the coil 13a being welded to the substrate 12 and the starting end 13b of the winding is directly welded to the iron core 11. The coil block is mounted on the electronic circuit substrate 15 by a caulking pin 14 and the pattern 16 of the substrate 15 and the flange of the caulking pin 14 is electrically coupled. On the substrate 15, a yoke 17 made of soft magnetic material is placed and the magnetic core 11 is placed on it. This construction provides a large contact area of the yoke 17 and the flange of the magnetic core 11, and the magnetic resistance is minimized by the pressure of the caulking pin 14 which makes possible miniaturizing the booster coil.
