Abstract
PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and manufacture it at an inexpensive cost, by mounting a pressurizing head at the back of a shock pad material. CONSTITUTION:A sample material 17 is set on a table 16, and a height of a stand 15 is regulated so that an end of a pressurizing head 11 is positioned in the proximity of the sample material 17. After a fly wheel 1 is set to a given itinial position, a shock applying machanism starts to turn and stands ready at a given turning speed. If a signal for starting a test is applied, a drive gear 7 is controlled based on the turning speed of the fly wheel, detected by a detector 18, and a passage signal, generated through the passage of a projection part P. The fly wheel 1 starts to move in a horizontal direction by means of a horizontal movement device 5, and the projection part P strikes material 10. The strike load is applied to the sample material 17 through a holding plate 13, a load cell 12, and a pressurizing head 11, and after striking, the horizontal movement continues, and the fly wheel 1 parts from the shock pad material 10 to complete a test.
