Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to assemble the titled cover glass frames without using any tool and to connect them to other cover glass frames in a heat insulating fashion by a method wherein each of the titled cover glass frames is formed of two vertical crosspieces, a lower crosspiece, an upper crosspiece and a glass plate each of which has a specific structure. CONSTITUTION:The solar heat collecting roof is formed of the cover glass frame unit B provided between side roofing members A and A and the cover glass frame unit B includes an eave edge cover glass frame section B1, an intermediate cover glass frame section B2 and a ridge cover glass frame section B3. Further, of the above three section B1-B3, the eave edge cover glass section B1 includes a group of cover glass frames each formed of the two vertical crosspieces 30, the lower crosspiece 31, the upper crosspiece 32 and the glass plate 33. Each of the vertical crosspiece 30 is provided with a side waterproof wall 36 at the upper portion thereof and a support leg 35 extending downwardly from right below the lower surface thereof so as to fit in a support groove formed in the upper portion of each of connecting members C. Likewise, the lower crosspiece 31 is provided with a concave section 39 which engages a flashing on an eave edge inspecting cover 65 at the portion, and a fitting projection 41 at the lower portion thereof and the upper crosspiece 32 is provided with a flashing which engages the lower cross-piece of each frame of the intermediate cover glass frame section B2, a fitting projection 44 and a horizontal crosspiece 45 which latter is provided with a heat insulating packing 48 and a heat insulating member 46.
