Abstract

1502473 Framed tents R M DARABSETT and D L DARABSETT 30 Nov 1976 [1 Sept 1975] 35884/75 Heading EIA [Also in Division B7] In a vehicle roof rack with a tent attachment a tubular framework D is mounted via clamps T onto the roof sill or gutter of the vehicle and a tent attachment H, M is connected to the roof rack by means of frame sections X which are telescopically received in corresponding tubular frame members C of the roof rack. As shown in Figs. 1, 2 the tent attachment includes frame sections H, M which are connected by interlocking parts X1, Y. The tent attachment has telescopically adjustable vertical supports I which interconnect at their lower ends with further telescopic tubes Q which form a bottom frame of the tent attachment. The telescopic frame sections of the tent attachment and roof rack may be held together by spring buttons X.
