Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to stably produce dustless and colorless heated air by a method wherein chaff as fuel is supplied in a combustion chamber formed between an inner wall and an outer wall from the lower part of the combustion chamber and carbonized by smouldering and only the unburnt gas produced by smouldering is led to another combustion chamber to burn there. CONSTITUTION:When chaff is intended to be burnt, firstly, the chaff is charged in a feed chute 22 and supplied to a chaff feeding part 13. Secondly, a motor is put in operation to rotate a vertical axis spiral body 11, resulting in pushing up the chaff through a tube body 12 into a smouldering chamber 5 in order to fire at low temperature. The unburnt gas produced by above-metnioned low temperature firing is passed through an internal peripheral perforated wall 1 and led to a primary combustion chamber 2 in order to be burnt there and furthermore led to a secondary combustion chamber arranged above the primary combustion chamber 2 in order to be completely burnt there. The high temperature completely burnt gas is mixed with air, which is induced by means of a blower 19 through a blast passage 18, at a heated air passage 17A so as to make the heated air, which is supplied to drier and the like through a duct equipped with a heat-blower 17B therewithin.
