Abstract
PURPOSE:To smoothly and slowly exhaust non-combustible material and sand and consequently contrive to reduce the energy loss consumed by heating said material and sand by a method wherein a gate valve and a flap valve, which are arranged in inclined state the one above the other and the respective phases of the opening and closing operation timing of which are different from each other, are provided in the falling route of the non-combustible material and sand. CONSTITUTION:The fluidized-bed incinerator is continuously cnnected at its lower discharge port (not shown) with the extracting device 31 of non-combustible material, which discharges the non-combustible material such as glass, metal or the like contained within shredded refuse together with sand. The device 31 consists of a gate valve part 35 and a flap damper part 36 joined with each other through upper and lower joining plates 32, which are inclined at nearly 45 deg.. The gate valve part 35 is equipped with an upper valve box 39 with a cylindrical rib 38 and the gate valve 48, which is slided by means of a cylinder 46 in order to choke the lower end opening of the upper valve box 39. On the other hand, the flap dampe part 36 is equipped with a lower valve box 41 surrounded by a damper cover 55 and the flap valve 59, which is rockably pivoted about an axis 57 by means of a cylinder 62 in order to choke the lower end opening of the lower valve box 41.
