Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of ignition timing control when rotary speed is not constant, by providing the second reference position pulse generating means, time measuring means and arithmetic circuit in an ignition timing control device, considering rotary acceleration and obtaining ignition timing. CONSTITUTION:A counter 12, used for the second reference position pulse generating means, register 13, used for the second time measuring means to obtain a time interval T2, and arithmetic circuit 14, expectantly calculating a time interval Ts to the ignition by inputting time intervals T1, T2 output from registers 8, 13 ignition advance value theta and clock pulse CLK, are provided in an ignition timing control device. Then a comparator circuit 11 is constituted to output an ignition command signal Ps when the time interval Ts is aligned to contents of the counter 12. In this way, ignition timing control can be performed in high accuracy even when an engine is at acceleration and deceleration.
