Abstract

PURPOSE:To discriminate conditions of a measured reaction to improve the reliability of a data processing, by using observed data to perform the approximation concerning time and discriminating coefficients of variables of an approximate expression. CONSTITUTION:The white light emitted from a light source 1 is irradiated to a measuring cuvette 4 through an exciting polarizer 3, and a sample fluoresces. This fluorescence is led to a fluorescence spectroscope 6 through a fluorescence polarizer 5 and is subjected to spectral diffraction into a monochromatic light of a designated wavelength and is stored in a memory part 13 through a photodetector 7, a preamplifier 8, and an A/D converter 9. Data of this optical signal is used to generate an approximate expression concerning time in an operating part 14, and values of time are substituted to this approximate expression to obtain desired data of time. Meanwhile, a data discriminating part 15 discriminates whether coefficients of variables of the approximate expression and intercept values are positive or negative and are in a constant range or not, and the abnormality of reaction conditions is detected and is displayed on a display part 61.
