CONSTITUTION:Vibration in accordance with rotary motion of a rotor 1 is transmitted to a rod 9 of an oil damper 7 through a journal bearing 2 and bearing mount cone 4. If the rod 9 and a piston 8, formed integrally with the rod, are rapidly moved downward, oil 12 located below the piston 8 results to move upward through holes 13. Then viscous power of the oil 12 caused at this time generates damping force in an oil damper 7. Damping force is similarly generated also when the piston 8 is rapidly moved upward, thus effective damping action results to act upon vibration of a rotary device for vertical vibration.
