Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the PCI time and to improve the productivity by a method wherein directly before the PCI process a tire is cooled by force from the inner and outer parts to reduce the temperature of orgnaic fiber code material. CONSTITUTION:Stopper mechanism 7 and forced cooler 8 are provided for roller conveyor 5 between vulcanizer 1 and PCI device 3. Tire 6 which has been vulcanized and left the tire take-out port 2 of the vulcanizer 1 slides on the roller conveyor 5, strikes the stopper plate of the stopper mechanism 7, pushes a limit switch and blowing fan 19 is rotated by elecromotive motor 18 of the forced cooling device 8 to blow cool air from the periphery of the outlet opening 20 of duct 17 uniformly to the inner and outer parts of the tire 6. When the temperature of the organic fiber code material of the tire 6 falls down to about 130 deg.C by blowing cool air the stopper plate moves downward and the tire 6 slides again on the roller conveyor 5 and is thrown into the tire take-out port 4 of the PCI device 3.
