Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism of a molding machine and reduce the operation time required for molding cycle by mounting a gushing head disposed with a blowing nozzle to a blow head and using the same. CONSTITUTION:A gushing head 3 provided with a blowing nozzle 7 is mounted hermetically to a blowing head 1 by means of a sealing material 2. Thence, the head 3 is brought into pressure contact hermetically with the blowing surface of a core box 10 consisiting of a stationary die 11 and a movable die 12 by means of a sealing material 9. Thence, compressed air is forced into the head 1 to blow a molding material 9 through the nozzle 7 into the molding cavity of said core box 10. At the same instant of the blowing of the material 9 or with slight delay from this, a hardening gas is fed through a gas inlet pipe 5 then through a gas accumulating chamber 4 into the molding cavity. The hardening gas flows to the outside of the system through a gas vent 6. After the hardening of the molding material, the hardening gas is released from the molding cavity by the compressed air.
