Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a decorative matter of interference fringes excellent in the decorating effect, by reproducing with an electrocasting mold a hologram as a prototype which is obtained from the interference of at least two laser beam fluxes as a master mold.
CONSTITUTION: A hologram negative plate 20 having a fine unevenness S is produced by the interference fringes of at least two laser beam fluxes, and a conductive metal layer 21 of silver, copper, etc. is formed on the surface of the plate 20 by the non electrolytic plating or vapor desposition. Then an Ni-Co alloy material 22 having the hardness suited to a forming stamper is electro- deposited on the plate 20 by the electrocasting process. The material 22 is exfoliated from the plate 20 to produce a stamper 23. The fine interference fringe pattern of the plate 20 is transcribed to the stamper 23 and then transcribed again onto the surface of the thermoplastic resin 24 by a hot pressing process to obtairn a decorative matter 25. Furthermore an electrocasting process is applied again to the stamper 23 to obtain a metallic decorative matter. This decorative matter is obtained by burying or stucking to the surface of a cover of a compact case, etc.
