Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the resolution, by providing two sampling circuits that sample the TV static pictures with a time shift and reading the sampling signals alternately to record them. CONSTITUTION:The sampling circuits 9 and 10 sample the picture signals supplied from an input terminal 8 by control signals (a) and (b). With an odd field of the picture signal, a switch 11 is connected to the 1st memory 12 by a control signal (c) and the sampled signal is written into the memory 12. In this case, a swich 14 is connected to the 2nd memory 13 by a control signal (h), and the sampling signals of an even field which are written into the 2nd memory 13 are read out via the switch 14. The signal given from the circuit 9 and the signal given from the memory 13 are supplied alternately to a video amplifier 17 by means of a switch 15. Then a picture is displayed on a display 2.
