Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled resin compsn. which can be used by low-temperature bake, by blending a blocked polyisocyanate compd., a polyhydroxy compd. and, if necessary, an electron-accepting compd. together.
CONSTITUTION: A blocked polyisocynanate compd. (A) such as 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate blocked by using, as a blocking agent, a monoamide compd. of the formula (wherein R is aryl; R1 is alkyl) such as N-phenylacetamide, is blended with a polyhydroxy compd. (B) having a number-average MW of 300W30,000 and a hydroxyl value of 10W40 such as a polyester polyol resin in such a proportion as to give an equivalent ratio of effective iscyanate group to hydroxyl group of 95:5W5:95. If necessary, further an electron-accepting compd. (C) such as chloranil is blended to produce a one-pack type polyurethane resin compsn. which can be cured by low-temperature bake, said compd. (C) being capable of forming a charge transfer complex with component A and having electron affinity of 0.1eV or higher.
