Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove automatically and surely deposits sticking to an inner periphery of a workpiece by holding the workpiece by a holder in a way to block a hollow space where particles are contained and vibrating the holder by a vibrator. CONSTITUTION:On a conveyor 1, a supply mechanism 4, a holding mechanism 6, which is vibrated by a vibratory mechanism 5, and a reversing mechanism 7 are arranged successively along the direction where a workpiece (a) is conveyed. The holding mechanism 6 is supported with a horizontal element 15b linked to a vibrator 17 of an oscillator 16 which constitutes the vibratory mechanism 5, by a base plate 15 which has the horizontal element 15b at an upper end of a vertical element 15a. When the workpiece (a) is held by the base plate 15, the oscillator 16 of the vibratory mechanism 5 works for a fixed time and the base plate 15, which is linked and held to the vibrator 16, vibrates. Therefore, particles 9 inside the workpiece (a) rubs the inner periphery of this workpiece (a) and strips off deposits (c) sticking to a part which is welded to a member (b).
