Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a means to look at the proximity of the automobile tire by a mirror by changing the angle of an electrically controlled mirror to directly downward and then inward of the automobile. CONSTITUTION:A timer circuit 4 constitutes a switching means to the downward angle change and the upward restoration and a setting means for the actuating period of a mirror drive motor, and trigger circuits 5, 7, and 9 are constituted to generate a triggering signal to turn on the timers on their output side at the instant the timers on their input side turned from ON to OFF. The second timer 6 sets the rest period while the third timer 3 sets the acutating period of a motor at the time of the directional angle change and direction restoration. The fourth timer 10 gives the angle change or restoration signal to a gate circuit 11 together with the output signal of the timer 4 and 8 generating a trigger signal in the circuit when its timer period up or when it is turned off by the signal from the circuit 3. The gate circuit gives a signal to the circuit 12 to turn the motor in normal or reverse direction according to the signal received from the timers 4, 6, 8, and 10.
