Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a fine granule with a uniform particle size in a good yield according to a wet granulating process by a method wherein a high speed rotor having an impactor protruded from a surface thereof is rotated at a central part of a vessel and a low speed rotor having a stirring blade equipped to an outer periphery thereof is rotated.
CONSTITUTION: When the high speed rotor 5 and the low speed rotor 7 are driven and a powder and a binder are thrown thereinto, the powder and the binder are uniformly blended by the impactor 6 of the high speed rotor 5 and the stirring blade 10 of the low speed rotor 7. Subsequently, when a liquid such as water or the like is supplied, the powder is flocculated on a liquid droplet as a nucleus and grown to be formed into a an agglomerated particle. The resulting particle is raised upwardly by the stirring blade 10 and, when dropped, moved centrifugally while crushed by the impactor 6 and again crushed by said impactor 6 while raised upwardly by the stirring blade 10. On the other hand, a fine powder is grown into a large particle by the action of the stirring blade 10. In this case, when each rotors 5, 7 are mutually rotated to opposed directions, a granule is obtained in high efficiency.
