Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the printing speed of a press and prevent dyeing glue from spattering by lifting only one side of a flat screen frame positioned at a side opposite to the side where a squeezer stops. CONSTITUTION:An up-down device comprises a pair of toothed wheel, a notched toothed-wheel 35 for driving which synchronously and intermittently meshes with a notched toothed wheel 36 for ascending and descending and a pair of cams 45, 49 for ascending and descending which are connected to the notched toothed wheel 36 for ascending and descending. The pair of cams 45, 49 is connected to the notched toothed wheel for ascending and descending 35 with such a phase difference provided so that only one side of a screen frame 57 opposite to the side where a pair of squeeze member is positioned can be ascended and descended alternately.
