Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a power converter circuit by providing a current balance coil for each unit circuit which operates in conversion, thereby reducing the number of the required current balance coils. CONSTITUTION:The coil LB1 of current balance coils LB1, LB2 is inserted between the neutral point of the series circuit of thyristors SCR1, SCR2 and the neutral point of the series circuit of feedback diodes D1, D2 and a load load R, and coil LB2 is inserted between the neutral point of the series circuit of thyristors SCR3, SCR4 and the neutral point of the series circuit of feedback diodes D3, D4 and the load R. The currents flowing through the thyristors SCR1, SCR3 are balanced, and the current flowing through the diodes D1, D3 are also balanced, while the currents flowing through the thyristors SCR2, SCR4 and the diodes D2, D4 are also balanced.
