Abstract
PURPOSE:To follow up the vibration of a recording medium well without increasing the stylus pressure and causing the fluctuation of the stylus pressure, by constituting a conductive stylus with an elastic material or the like and providing a means which keeps the length between the base end part of the stylus and the surface of a recording medium constant. CONSTITUTION:A conductive stylus 2 is mounted on a float 4 through an elastic material 3 consisting of a metallic bar with length, for example, 1-3mm.. That is, the float 4 is light-weight comparatively and has a large bottom area and has an aperture part 5 in the bottom face, and the conductive stylus 2 is protruded through this aperture part 5. By this constitution, a minute and constant air gap G of 0.3-1mu is formed between the bottom face of the float 4 and the surface of a recording medium 1 when the recording medium 1 is rotated in a high speed. Thus, the stylus pressure is reduced to a very low value, and the occurrence of the noise due to static electricity generated by friction between the stylus and the recording medium is reduced.
